Additive manufacturing technology has been profoundly transforming traditional manufacturing paradigms, significantly impacting various industries. To foster innovative technological breakthroughs, accelerate industrial development, and enhance China's global influence in additive manufacturing, the ICAMTFA2025 was successfully convened from April 11 to 13, 2025, in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. The event was jointly hosted by Xi'an Jiaotong University, the National Innovation Institute of Additive Manufacturing, and the Additive Manufacturing Technology Branch and Special Processing Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES). It was also guided by the CMES and the Department of Science and Technology of Shaanxi Province and co-organized by Northwestern Polytechnical University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Beihang University, Tsinghua University, South China University of Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Shenzhen University, and the editorial office of "Frontiers of Additive Manufacturing". Furthermore, the event incorporated the 3rd Frontiers Forum for Advanced Manufacturing of Ceramics (FAME2025) and the 7th Innovation Forum on 4D Printing (7th4DPF). Distinguished attendees included Sun Ke, Vice Chairman of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the CPPCC; Professor Bie Zhaohong, Executive Vice President of Xi'an Jiaotong University; Professor Lu Bingheng of Xi'an Jiaotong University, an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; and Professor Wang Huaming of Beihang University, also an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, who attended online.
