Topic:Artificial Inteligence Applications in Supply Chain Management: From Product Configuration to Adaptive Supply Networks
Abstract:Supply chains are becoming increasingly complex due to product customization, global sourcing networks, and growingsustainability requirements. Artificial intelligence (AI) offers new capabilities for managing this complexity by enabling data-driven decision making across product configuration, planning, and operational processes. This presentation explores how Alcan enhance product configuration systems (CPQ), support predictive and adaptive supply chain planning. and enablegenerative approaches to product and supply network design. In addition, the role of digital twins and Al-driven analytics inimproving responsiveness and operational efficiency is discussed. The presentation highlights emerging applications as wellaskey challenges related to data integration, explainability, and organizational adoption of Al-based decision support systems.
