In December 2023, Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU)introduced the “XJTU Global Development Action Plan 2030”,aiming to enhance the quality of international education at XJTU and strengthen collaborations with prestigious universities worldwide. In alignment with this plan, the School of International Education has launched the “High-Level Visiting Research Students from World-Renowned Universities” program (VRS Program). This initiative invites top international graduate students to join XJTU for short-term research internships, providing a unique opportunity to work alongside leading professors in a vibrant academic community while experiencing the rich cultural heritage of China.

Program Details

Enrollment Quota:200 students

Eligibility: Current master’s or doctoral students from the top 500 universities worldwide

Scholarship Coverage:Tuition waiver, free accommodation, and a living allowance 3000RMB per month

Study Duration:3 months, 6 months, or 1 year
