At present, manual temperature measurement and disinfection are time-consuming, laborious and dangerous. The team of Professor Xuesong MEI at Xi'an Jiaotong University has developed a temperature measurement and disinfection inspection robot. The products have been put into use in hospitals, customs and other units.

On February 13rd, Professor Xuesong MEI of the School of Mechanical Engineering said in an interview with a reporter from the Hua shang Daily that the team had made breakthroughs in medical robots, such as robot dispensing. The team had rapidly developed two products,named a temperature screening inspection robot and an unmanned inspection robot.

The temperature measuring robot can measure the temperature of many people at the same time, and the working efficiency of the disinfection robot is ten times that the manual operation.

At present, the biggest difficulty is that the production capacity cannot keep up, and the team is ready to donate one robot to Wuhan Vulcan Mountain Hospital.
