3D Bio-printing team of ME

Recently, the 3D bio-printing team of Professor Jiankang HE won the first prize of natural science in the outstanding scientific research award for science and technology of higher education in 2019, for the project "Basic design of biodegradable microstructure bionic design and manufacturing".

The team has realized the transformation of mechanical structure to autologous tissue, using biomimetic design and 3D printing of the biodegradable scaffold microstructure to guide tissue regeneration and gradually degrade into carbon dioxide and water, which will be metabolized by the human body after implantation in the body.

In addition, the soft and hard tissues of the human body are organically fixed through a gradient structure, which will achieve the purpose of repairing soft tissue functions and promote the development of the medical field.
